IGS Quick Start - Fear Free Human

Internal Guidance System® Quick Start

Your Internal Guidance System® (IGS) is the part of your body that lets you know—instantly—whether a thought or belief is aligned with truth. It shows up as a physical opening (alignment, truth) or tightening (fear or misalignment, false).

This video series where you’ll take baby steps toward understanding your IGS—and permanently changing your life.

IGS Quick Start #1

Naming Your Closing

Welcome to the first step in mastering your Internal Guidance System (IGS)—and learning the life-changing practice of tuning into your inner compass. In this short and powerful video, you’ll learn how to recognize your closing sensations and what they’re actually trying to tell you.

Inside this video, you’ll discover:

  • What a closing really means (it’s not a “no”!)
  • Why your IGS is NOT a yes/no system—and what it is instead
  • How to play the “hot/cold” game with your own intuition
  • What that tight feeling in your throat or chest is actually signaling
  • How to shift from closing to opening for clarity, ease, and flow

Hey, I’m super excited that you decided to go ahead and do this video series with me. This is going to be so much fun. You’re going to learn how to use your internal guidance system, all right? It’s going to be super easy.

I’m going to give you all these totally awesome little short videos day after day that’s going to take you baby step by baby step into using this. And by the end of this course, you’re going to know so much more about all these openings and closings. I thought it would be really fun if I do the first part of this video series with you on one of my favorite hikes near my house.

I live in Northern California near the Redwoods and I absolutely love this. So I thought it’d be totally fun for you to get to see some of the prettier spots. And I actually really hope you get a chance to actually hike the Redwoods sometime in your life if you haven’t.

All right, so you felt the opening and closing, right? And it’s super exciting. You’ve probably been playing with it since you got, you know, the initial opening happening and closing to I have an internal guidance system. I do not have an internal guidance system.

And one of the new things that I want you to know about this is this is not a yes or a no system. A lot of people kind of think of this as if I’m open, that’s a yes. And if I’m closed, that has to be a no.

Well, actually, that’s not true, okay? If you are closed and open, there’s also another actual guidance point, which is neutral. Remember that sole blueprint I told you about? Well, when you’re feeling like kind of nothing, it’s just nice and calm and easy in here. You’re on your soles blueprint and your IGS actually gives you openings when you want you to take and divert into a new direction and closings when you’re getting off path.

But otherwise, you’ll be kind of in the neutral. So here’s what’s really, truly important about this, okay? It’s like the hot cold game when you were a kid or a compass, either one. You know how that compass moves back and forth and is constantly giving you guidance as you’re moving through the woods, right? Okay, well, also, the hot cold game when you were a kid, they’d hide an object in the house and blindfold you and then all the kids would help by yelling, it’s hot, hot, hot, no, no, you know, you’re warm, cold, cold, colder, right? That is how your IGS actually guides you to keep you on your sole blueprint and having the happiest most fulfilled life.

So that’s really important for you to know. Don’t use it as I got a no or I got a yes from my IGS. So here’s the first actual exercise of what I want to give you, all right? All I want you to do is to begin realizing that this is a real form of guidance that’s happening throughout your day.

And the easiest way to do that is by getting you in touch with your closing sensations, okay? So what you’re going to do is as you’re moving through and doing the closing sensation, you’re just going to stop when you feel closed, that tightening, that wump in the throat, they’ll go ahead and that tight feeling in your stomach when you feel that go, I’m closed. That means what I’m thinking is not true and not going to happen. I’m going to say that again, I’m closed.

That means what I’m thinking is not true and not going to happen. Now, you should feel like a little bit of a lightning when that happens. That’ll let you know that you are in control of your IGS by what you’re thinking and it’s responding to what your thoughts are producing.

And just do that. We’re just going to do that for a few days while I give you more information about how this works in our subsequent videos day after day, okay? So that’s all you need to know. Also, I want to let you know that we have a cool Facebook page that you can join, 100 million reads, I’ll explain why it’s called that a little bit later.

I have a very cool project that I’m doing and you’ll get to hear about it in a few days. But what I want you to know is that is where people are discussing, using their IGS, having success stories, questions. There’s all kinds of people that I have that are helping me out answering and you’ll get to meet me there and get experience of what I’m like, you know? So go ahead, please join our Facebook page.

I can’t wait to meet you and I’m unbelievably happy that you’re on this journey. Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to learn about your inner GPS.

Now let’s get on the hike. I want to thank you for watching this video on your internal guidance system. My name is Zen Crier de Brook and this is the most incredible thing that you could ever discover in your life and I know that is a massive statement.

There’s some pretty great things out there. But your internal guidance system, you were born with it. It’s something that’s a part of you and it’s been giving you guidance your entire life.

If you are interested in going further, I want to invite you to go to fearfreehuman.com forward slash start fearfreehuman.com forward slash start. There you’ll find a program that’s free and easy to do and you’ll be able to get going and have more contact with me. This takes coaching.

It takes community. We’re working with your mind and you don’t know the thoughts necessarily that are closing you and how to find the openings. But here’s the thing, every time you feel that tightness inside your mump in your throat, your tightness in your chest or your sick solar plex feeling, that means your thinking is out of alignment with your divine blueprint, with what you’re here to do, with your purpose every time you feel it.

And once you learn how to go from feeling that tightness to finding an opening, you’re getting back in alignment with what you’re here to do and your purpose. Life becomes easy. Miracles become the norm.

Synchronicity is how you move through the world. You move through the world with flow and you feel confident, self-assured, authentic, and happy. For the rest of your life, this is a permanent change.

More than anything that anybody has ever done before, all of my students say, nothing is like this. Nothing is as permanent and nothing is as amazing. So go check it out.

It’s a pretty amazing thing. I want to bring you along with it. Thanks so much.

Behind me are some good examples of redwoods. Now these are actually kind of small even though they might look pretty big, but they get to be absolutely magnificently huge. There’s actually a few on this trail that are that big.

And if you do get an opportunity, and I hope you do, to come hiking in some redwoods, make sure you take the time to look straight up. Because it is magnificent. These trees are 100, 150 feet tall.

It’s just a magnificent, magnificent canopy up there. Anyhow, I wanted to tell you about your anatomy of your internal guidance system. There’s three areas that your IGS gives you guidance.

The throat, the chest, and the solar plex area. And here’s the key. Other people, as they’re learning to use this, have told me that they get an opening in their head, in their forehead, in their ears, in their back, in their little toe.

And actually, I can’t guarantee that as guidance. So if you get other opening sensations or closing sensations, there might be good information, but it’s not the same as what I can reliably teach you with these three areas. So oftentimes, a closing will show up as a lump in your throat.

You’ve ever had a lump in your throat? That is your IGS. And what it’s telling you is that what you’re thinking in that moment about yourself is not true. You’re thinking debilitating thoughts about you.

You’ll notice that it shows up when you’re maybe hurt about somebody that you feel doesn’t care about you, or maybe they don’t respect you or love you. It can show up before you go on stage and you have something important. And the head noise that’s going on inside is like, I can’t do this.

I’m going to sound stupid. What if they laugh? What if I forget my talk? You know, those kinds of thoughts, lump in the throat, telling you it’s not true what you’re thinking. Then the chest area, when you feel a tightening and constriction or an open, that’s to real-time information.

Now, you may be thinking of the past or the future in that moment, but it’s real-time what you’re thinking with your mind in that moment. Tightening, closing, not true, opening, more true, moving towards you, towards fulfillment and success. And then last but not least, a really interesting one is the pit of your stomach.

When you feel a rock or a churning, sometimes it can last for days. This feeling, you’re like, God, I just can’t get rid of this. What it is is a belief system that’s not true and or a body of thought.

So by what I mean by body of thought is you have a theme of thought happening. So an example would be, let’s say you’re just lost your job. And now every single decision that you’re making in your life is about whether you can afford something or not, what you have to cut out of your life.

It may show up as a rock in the pit of your stomach as you begin thinking about your finances and you’re constantly, almost everything is being applied to finances. It could be a health crisis where you are waiting for test results and you’re consistently thinking, oh gosh, what if the test would come back positive and I have this and my whole life is going to go down the drain and your thoughts begin rambling. Body of thought.

Now, the solar plex area and the throat, it doesn’t necessarily open. When you’re open, there’s just no sensation there. It just feels neutral and great.

Now, as you’re moving through your life, if you get this pit of your stomach sensation, it really takes the time to sit down and maybe write out what the theme is that you’re thinking of in that moment. Because just actually recognizing what the belief is and realizing it’s not true shifts that for you. I know that’s a lot of information, but bear with me.

I want you to just pay attention to the openings in the various areas of your IGS. And once again, thanks for your time and I’m looking forward to having you watch the next one.

You have been feeling your internal guidance system your entire life, you just didn’t know exactly what it was. Anytime that you felt stressed, worried, anxiety, fear, overwhelmed, these are all closing experiences. It means what you’re thinking is not true and it’s out of alignment.

But the thing is, is that to make the switch to understanding that those experiences that you’re having are actually closing and it’s information and guidance from your internal guidance system, you have to be really present with the body. Now, in this day and age, most of us aren’t very present. We’re not really experiencing our life.

And I can give you an example, like if you have a bruise, you get a bruise and you don’t even know how you got it. I mean, you hit yourself hard enough but you can’t remember when you did that. That’s pretty amazing.

Or driving home and you get all the way home and you don’t remember the drive because you’re all in your head thinking, these are examples of us not being present. Another one is having a conversation in the background while somebody else is speaking to you, pre-giving an information about what you’re going to say next instead of actually listening to the person. That’s another example of not being present in the moment.

And so in order to use your IGS, I recommend that you have a set point that you return to each and every time that you want to actually drop in and understand what your mind’s thinking and the guidance you’re getting. And I call this your listening practice. When I work with clients, I say drop into your listening.

And what I mean is feel your feet, your hands, tailbone, listen to the room around you, and then go. And what that does is it quiets the mind. So you can then go and you can feel what your internal guidance system is giving you.

So I want to show you this, how to do this right now. And what I’m going to have you do is I’m going to have you practice it. And the more that you do this, the better you’re actually going to get at being able to listen to your internal guidance system.

And what’s even better is that you’re going to be more present in your life. I have people who drop into their listening all the time in order to like go ahead and just understand, get clear on what they’re thinking. So if you’ll just sit in a room, you don’t have to do it right now, you could practice this later.

And actually, if you got the book, this listening practice is in the CD, the downloads, the mp3s for the book. Or they’re right here below this page. And I just recommend that you go ahead and listen.

And there’s two. There’s one with me explaining this. And then there’s one with just the listening practice.

OK, shorter version. So sit down in a chair with your hands in your lap. I like palms up personally.

And feel your feet. Take a breath and just relax and just drop in. So feeling your breathing and then feel your feet and experience them fully.

Like really feel the bottom of your feet, toes arching your feet off how it’s off the ground, the pressure of your heel. You might notice that they kind of tingle. You get a little little vibration in them because you’re suddenly aware of them.

Feel your palms. Feel the energy in the palms that are sitting upright. And if you can, feel your feet and the palms of your hands at the same time.

Notice how your mind is getting quieter just as you’re getting present with your body. Now, what I’d like for you to do is imagine that you have a cord attached to your tailbone, right? Where your spine in the bottom is hitting the chair there. And imagine that it has a cannonball or a big anchor attached to it.

And literally as you’re imagining it, imagine it pulling you more deeply into your seat, dropping you into your body. Just sit there for a moment and experience that weight of your tailbone. Now, let that go.

Keep it attached to your tailbone, but actually let it kind of fall towards the center of the earth. Let it fall and fall. Keep your eyes closed if you can.

All right. Now, as you feel your feet and your hands and that anchor has come to its own natural resting place, now listen to the room around you. And I want you to listen as an experience.

Our mind has a tendency to name things. Airplane, chickens, just kidding. That’s what I have at my house.

There may be cars outside. You may hear the hum of the computer or the refrigerator. You know, there’s just sounds.

Instead of naming refrigerator, computer, relax and just experience it for a moment. We’re just going to do that for a minute. Eyes closed, listening to the room around us, both inside and out, experiencing the sounds.

And then wiggle your toes and your fingers. Now, when you’re doing this on your own, the more that you do this in the next week or two, you just sit down and do it. You can do it for two to three minutes, max five, really.

It’s just getting you used to doing this. What’s going to happen is you’re going to actually drop in much quicker. And we’re getting to a point where what I want, and we’ll talk about that when I do the on the go listening practice, I want you to be able to drop in instantaneously, instantaneously.

Like feet, hands, tailbone, listen, and then you feel your IGS. So you can do it at work. You can do it in your car.

You can do it when you’re in a fight with somebody that you care about and you’re really angry and upset, you can stop and feel your IGS. So that’s it for now. Do this as much as you can over the next week or so.

And it’s kind of relaxing. Most people really enjoy it. So have fun with it and just practice it as much as you can.

Why “Positive” Thoughts Can Still Make You Close

In this video you’ll learn why your Internal Guidance System (IGS) responds to the truth of a thought, not whether it’s labeled “positive” or “negative.”

Sometimes what feels good isn’t aligned, and what feels hard is exactly what you need to hear.

Inside this short and powerful episode, you’ll discover

  • Why your IGS can close on a positive thought (and open on a negative one)
  • Real-life stories where the IGS revealed surprising truths—like when Zen opened to not being able to pay rent
  • How to train your awareness to recognize when your thoughts are out of alignment
  • The simple phrase that will reprogram your reaction to stress, fear, and anxiety

All right, so I just wanted to take a second and introduce you to my dog Freya. Yes, she’s a boxer and I thought her when I was about seven months pregnant and she’s like a daughter to my husband and I and to our sister to our son. So I just she’s a wonderful dog.

I just wanted to know who she was. I’m walking down these trails with me. So one of the things that I often hear people say when they begin first learning about their internal guidance system is that it’s simply then their mind and their body responding to positive or negative thought.

When they have a positive thought then they feel better in their body and when they have a negative thought then they feel worse in their body, right? Actually, what I found is that’s not the case at all. You can have a negative what you consider a negative thought and you can open or you can have a positive thought or what you consider positive and you close. So an example with the positive thought would be let’s say you’re dating somebody and they’re just not right for you and you have convinced yourself that they’re awesome and it’s amazing and they’re your soulmate and you’re gonna be with them forever and this whole time even though you have endorphins running through your body and you’re having emotional feel-good moment your IGS is responding with a closed sensation, a rock in the pit of your stomach, tightening in your chest, lump in your throat, those kinds of things are still going on and it’s your IGS responding to what you’re thinking that are positive thoughts, right? But it’s closed.

One time I was not going to have rent and usually almost every month I would be afraid of not having rent at this particular time of my life. It was right after college. I got done with college and so usually I would think, oh gosh, I’m not gonna have rent and I would feel a closed sensation and I knew okay, that’s not true.

I am gonna have rent. Everything’s gonna be fine. But then one month I thought oh, I’m not gonna be able to make rent this month and I opened and I checked several different times and yes, I was indeed open which meant I wasn’t going to be able to make my rent.

So I went to my landlord and we had a good conversation and he understood and it took me a couple months to get caught up, but I did and everything was gonna be okay. So it may take you a little while in working with your IGS before you actually have this experience for yourself. Oftentimes I’ll get emails though where someone will be like, it happened to me.

I had the worst thought and I opened but I knew exactly what to do and I handled it from there and or I had this positive thought it was really really I was gonna get the job, but I closed and so I knew I wasn’t actually gonna get the job even though I was really pumping myself up that I was gonna get it. So just be aware of that, that this information that’s coming in which I am gonna talk about it is unique and it is giving you real guidance on what’s true in what you’re thinking. So just take your time, keep doing the practice that I gave you, watching your closings, stress, worry, fear, anxiety when that happens in your life, you’re closed.

I want you to hold the thought, I’m closed. That means what I’m thinking is not true and not gonna happen. It’s the most powerful practice that’ll set you up because I’m gonna give you some really amazing practices that are gonna change your life, your time management, your relationship with others.

There’s all kinds of ways to use this tool practically in your life and it makes your life flow and it’s easy and this one practice, if you continue doing it, it’s gonna turn on your IGS muscle like nobody’s business and those other practices when I give them to you are gonna be super easy. All right, so thanks for your time. I really love that you spend this time and you’re learning to use your IGS.

Hey, thanks for watching these videos. If you want to find out more about how to use your internal guidance system and transform your entire life out of a place where you’re out of alignment, feeling tight, closed, and shut down to where you’re in alignment and having the most extraordinary life you’ve ever ever could have dreamed of, go to fearfreehuman.com forward slash start. That’s fearfreehuman.com forward slash start and we’ll get you going using your IGS right away, sending you loving blessings.

Bye for now.

What Was I Just Thinking? How to Catch the Thought That Closed You

You’ve probably had that moment, you’re feeling closed, but you can’t quite remember what thought caused it. That’s totally normal.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • Why your mind forgets what you were just thinking when you feel a closing
  • The “Yield Sign” phenomenon and how outdated beliefs are still guiding your life
  • Why your IGS helps you spot false programming (even from when you were 5!)
  • How to catch recurring thoughts that keep closing you—so you can stop the pattern
  • The next phase of your IGS practice: learning to trust your openings and closings

💡 New Practice: Begin paying close attention to what you’re thinking when you feel a closing. Your Internal Guidance system (IGS) is showing you where you’re misaligned, and that insight is pure gold.

So by now you’ve gotten a good four to five days of using the thought I’m closed that means what I’m thinking is not true and not going to happen and what will be happening for you Hopefully is your IGS when you say that in a closed state begins to open and you feel like more relaxed Right, you feel to be able to settle down now what most people experience at this particular junction is They close they realize they’re closed But they can’t remember what they were just thinking Like the thought was there but they they can’t recall it So they don’t know what they actually just closed to and it’s really kind of looks like you’re walking along and all of a sudden You go. Oh, I’m closed No, no thought you had no idea now. What I want you to know is is that over time? This is like a muscle you’re gonna get to know your thoughts really really well because working with your IGS is Really about you knowing how your own mind works and what parts of it are true and what parts of it are not true So I’m gonna give you an example right now and I apologize that it’s really kind of North American centric But I want to ask you this question What color in the United States and Canada is a yield sign? Right.

So Canadians what color is an American yield sign? Did you think yellow or did you think red and white? well, most people believe it or not think yellow the yellow yield sign with the black writing on it that says yield and actually that yield sign was retired in 1946 and so what happens is We are still using that it was in a part of our consciousness But in 1946 what they did is they went ahead and they created the red and white yield sign in order for it to be in Alignment with a majority of the international standards out there But people still produce and use the yield sign that’s yellow and black now how can that be you’ve passed hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of yield signs in your life and It never updated the information your mind didn’t go. Hey, that’s really now red and white Give me an example of how prevalent this is in our in our society about two months ago I was watching Sesame Street with my son Which is a children’s program here in the United States and they used a yellow and black yield sign as part of one of Their skits brand new skit that came out yellow and black yield sign. So you’ll see them on books You’ll see them in all kinds of artistic use and it the problem is is that your brain doesn’t have a way to update that Information to tell you that that information is not accurate Well in your life you have a ton of yellow yield signs things that when you are in the first five years of your life Were true and that your mind made up how you’re loved how you’re successful.

What’s safe What’s not safe and throughout your life? You’re still carrying that zero to five year old Mentality in your as you go as you age. Well, your IGS part of its Programming and what it’s doing with you is letting you know when you have a yield sign when you have a belief That’s not true when there’s something that you think is scary and it’s really not something you need to be scared of anymore so as you’re going through and using your IGS and you’re getting these thoughts that you don’t remember what I want you to know is Is that over time you’re gonna get to know your mind and not only that That same thought is gonna come back Your mind is gonna produce habitually the same kind of system over and over again the same thought that closed you will come back So you don’t have to worry about it. Just go Oh, I’ll just figure that out when it comes back around the next time and at the same time I want you to pay attention to when you have closings now and you do realize what you’re thinking Notice if you believe are able to trust your IGS or not Okay Notice whether or not when you feel closing and you look at your thought if you have the thought suddenly saying but that has to Be true or I know that’s the truth because those are the yield signs and that’s what we want to capture next Okay, so new practice now I want you when you have a closing sensation to start paying attention to what you’re thinking start getting to know your own mind All right, so I’ll see you at the next video where I’m gonna give you yet another tip on how this beautiful part of yourself works So what do you think about your internal guidance system? Isn’t it pretty incredible? Well, if you want to go further and you’d love to check this out go to fearfreehuman.com forward slash start We’ve got free resources for you to feel your IGS and start using it today

IGS Quick Start #6

Will Following Your IGS Hurt the People You Love?

One of the most common fears people have when using their Internal Guidance System (IGS) is this:

👉 “What if doing what feels right for me hurts someone else?”

In this video, you’ll discover why your IGS never guides you in a way that harms others, and how it actually takes into account everyone’s highest good, not just your own.

You’ll learn:

  • Why your IGS is tuned into more than just your life path
  • A real story of a couple whose family became stronger after following an unexpected IGS opening
  • How your openings ripple out to create more openness in the people around you
  • What to do when your opening seems disruptive, scary, or like it will hurt someone else
  • A new practice: Try exploring the opposite of a closing thought and see what opens

💡 Your IGS is wise, intelligent, and more far-reaching than your mind can understand. Trust it—even when it feels hard.

So, one of the questions that I get often is, if my IGS opens or closes and I take action in that direction, what about everyone around me? Is it going to be good for them that I take action on my openings and closings? And what I have to say is, yes, your IGS, the wisdom that it comes from, knows everything. It’s remarkable, and you’re going to discover this for yourself. It knows so much, and it takes into account.

Everyone else’s life blueprints around you and what’s best for them. So, it’ll never have you take action on something that isn’t good for everyone concerned, and that’s what you need to know. You know, when we talk about this 100 million reads and the reason why that movement and campaign is so important is because when something negative or you think is negative hits you, that closing comes and hits you, and you transmute it into an opening, right? And you stop the ripple effect from going through you.

Opening begets opening. You’re going to find that the more open you are, the more open people you meet, the more open people around you are, the more that clarity begins coming into the play, right? So, I’m going to give you an example of how it’s good for everyone concerned. I had a wife and husband who were clients of mine learning to use their IGS, and she got a job opportunity on the other side of the United States.

And her IGS opened at taking this opportunity, but it closed at pulling her kids out of school and moving her family. So, when she went and she talked to her husband, she says, I don’t know what to do, I’m open at taking this job, but yet I also am now realizing I’m open at leaving you guys behind. And her husband immediately started thinking, I can’t raise the kids by myself, they’re in high school, I can’t manage all this by myself.

And he was closed at all those thoughts, so they came to see me. And we began to work through, and we found an opening for both of them. And the opening was, she was to take the job and move away from her family, and he was to stay there and take care of the kids.

Well, what ended up happening was absolutely a miracle. You’d think that this would be the worst situation ever, but what happened was, is when she would come home for three to four days, all of a sudden, everything became about family. The kids stayed home for the weekend, they planned doing things together.

Her husband and her started this long distance romance that was absolutely amazing. It revitalized their entire marriage and these long, long phone calls that they would have revisiting different things, their goals, and what they wanted. About six months into it, their family was better, stronger, and more powerfully joined together than it had ever been.

And she got a job offer to move back to the city where she was living before. And so she moved back, and they say now that it was one of the best things that ever happened to their family. Now, in the beginning, though, I have to tell you, we went through quite a few coaching sessions, really helping them understand how this is going to work out and using their openings to figure it out.

But it didn’t feel that way the first time she brought up moving across the United States. There was a constriction, there was tightness, it was really hard. So what I want you to know is, is that if you do get an opening that you think is going to hurt someone’s feelings or disrupt things in your life, there is a solution, you just need to stick with your IGS.

And I promise that it will come out to be the best thing for everyone involved. And it’s a miraculous, powerful tool that creates freedom and your life flowing along in a beautiful way. All right? So don’t worry about that.

Now, by now, you’ve been looking and examining your thoughts, right? And as you find the closing looking, and then now what I’d like you to do, because they just started that, is try going with the opposite. It won’t always work, and I’m going to give you tools that will, but try going with the opposite of what you’re thinking and just see if you get that opening sensation started or that ease. You know? So if it’s like you’re thinking of going in this direction, kind of go, oh, okay, well, maybe I need to go in this direction instead with whatever your thoughts are.

Okay? Awesome. I hope you’re enjoying it. And by now, you’re probably beginning to realize that this is a magnificent, powerful tool, and I have only so much more to share with you.

IGS Quick Start #7

One Dangerous Habit That Blocks Your Internal Guidance System

If you’re new to using your Internal Guidance System (IGS), there’s a common mistake that almost everyone makes in the beginning, compulsively reversing your questions. And while it seems harmless, it can totally block your clarity and leave you confused.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • Why flipping between “Am I going to get the job?” and “Am I not going to get the job?” confuses your IGS
  • What actually happens when you try to force an opening instead of trusting the closure
  • Why one reversed thought (like “I am healthy”) doesn’t cancel out a flood of anxious thoughts
  • How to recognize when you’re ruminating—and what to do instead
  • The one sentence that will get you back on track every time

🛑 Don’t let this early mistake derail your IGS journey. Learn to trust your first signal and let go of the need to second-guess.

Throughout this course, I’m going to be giving you my troubleshooting tips, okay? Because there’s certain things that over years and years and years of me studying and using my IGS, I learned are hiccups that can take you down the wrong road really, really quick, okay? So the first troubleshooting tip I want to give you is when you compulsively reverse your questions back and forth as you’re using your IGS. Now, most people in the first few days that they use their internal guidance system do this. So if that’s something that you’re doing, I’m going to explain what it is.

I want you to stop, okay, because it’s really dangerous. Because I did the meditation the way I did of I do not have an internal guidance system and I do have an internal guidance system, most people think of using their IGS as reversed questions. Am I going to get the job? Am I not going to get the job? Another thing that will happen is they’ll be closed.

You’re going to feel this tightening more than you ever have in your entire life. You’re going to be aware of it now that you know that it means something and it’s not just stress. I’m stressed out.

It’s like, oh my goodness, I’m getting guidance for my inner GPS, right? And you’ll feel closed and you’ll be thinking about something. Whatever you’re thinking in that moment is not true, not in alignment and not going to happen. You’re closed.

You’ve already got the information. But what most people do is they reverse the question. So let’s say I’m thinking, do I have a health issue? Oh my gosh, I’m afraid I have a health issue.

I’m getting sick and I’m closed, right? Then the next thing that I’ll do is I’ll say, I am healthy, reverse the question. But you won’t open and then you get confused. What is the answer to the problem that you’re having? Well, here’s the thing.

If you have a huge body of thought that’s going on in your mind and you’re already closed and you’re ruminating, ruminating, ruminating on the closure, and you just, it’s like an ocean of thought, right? So if you just drop one question into there, one simple statement, your IGS is going to continue to give you guidance on the main large body of thought you’re having, okay? So dropping one drop into the ocean doesn’t change the ocean. Just go with what it is you already know is closing, trust it, and go on with your life. I’m closed, that means what I’m thinking is not true and not going to happen.

And you will avoid a major pitfall that happens to most people when they begin to use their IGS. All right, got it? Okay, keep practicing, just noticing your closings and stating I’m closed, that means what I’m thinking is not true and not going to happen because that’s going to really build that IGS muscle and awareness. All right, I’ll see you in the next video.

I’m following it every single day. I’ll see you there.

IGS Quick Start #8

Can You Trick Your IGS Into Saying What You Want to Hear?

At this stage, you might be feeling confident, and maybe even a little clever.

You’ve felt openings, identified closings, and you’re starting to trust your inner guidance. But a sneaky question might pop up:
“What if I could make my IGS open about something I really want?”

Whether it’s quitting your job, taking a big risk, or convincing yourself you’re ready for something you’re not, this video explains why your Internal Guidance System® (IGS) can’t be manipulated, and what’s actually happening when you think you’ve “tricked” it.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • Why you can’t trick your IGS (even if it feels like you did)
  • What’s actually happening when you shift from closed to open
  • Why your IGS always tells the truth—whether you want to hear it or not
  • What to do when you’re determined to take action on a bad idea (and how your IGS will stop you every time)
Click Here to Read the Transcript

So by now you’ve been experiencing your openings and your closings and your neutral, and I’m sure you’ve been playing with your internal guidance system enough to possibly begin thinking that you might be able to trick your IGS into opening. So it’s closed about something, but you can make it open, like open, open, open, and it’s going to open. And at some point you might actually feel like, hey, I opened.

I did. I just tricked my IGS. No, what happened was, is you were thinking something that was closing you, and you started thinking about your IGS opening.

You stopped thinking about the thing that was closing you. So here’s the thing, even if you really, really, really, really want something to happen. So let’s say you want to quit your job, and you want to take your life savings, and you want to go travel around the world, and you would just love it if your IGS opened and told you that that’s part of your soul’s blueprint right now, right? Actually, it won’t if it’s not the best thing for you, and it’s not really a part of your blueprint.

And so if you feel like you can trick your IGS, my invitation to you is go ahead and just get moving on that action you want to take. Write a letter to your boss to quitting your job. Go and start researching your trip around the world.

Go ahead and start looking at spending that money. All along the way, your IGS is going to get closed, closed, closed. Every action that you go to take.

It’s not going to let you make a mistake. And in the more that you actually stay on that path and get determined to do it, the deeper you’re closed you’ll be. Now, if you think back in your life, you’ll notice that before any big decision that was not right for you, that was actually kind of you look back and you go, oh, I wish I hadn’t done that.

You were closed. So even if there’s a really, you know, you have a really bad idea and your IGS closes letting you know it’s a bad idea, and you decide to take action on it anyways, it’s going to stay closed until you listen. Or, you know, at some point you’ll wake up.

So don’t worry, you can’t trick your IGS. Now, we’re almost done with my hike here. I hope you really enjoyed it.

We got one more video to do, and then I’m going to take you home. And I’m going to show you my home, and I’ve got serious practical tips that you’re going to actually begin using in your life. Your IGS on time management and in relating with others.

There’s all kinds of really good juicy practices that I have left for you. So let’s do this last video and finish our hike up together and then head home.

IGS Quick Start #9

How to Reset When You’ve Been Out of Alignment

Ever had that moment where everything’s going wrong, and then it hits you?

“Wait… I’ve been closed this whole time.”

Don’t worry. It happens to everyone, even after you’ve started working with your Internal Guidance System® (IGS). In this video, you’ll learn how to recognize those moments without spiraling, and how to get back on track within minutes.

Inside this video, you’ll discover:

  • Why stress, worry, fear, and anxiety are signs you’ve been closed
  • What happens when you take action from a closed state (aka Murphy’s Law in motion)
  • How to reset your IGS quickly and shift back into alignment
  • Why “closing is just closing”, not a failure or disaster
  • A preview of what’s next: how to apply your IGS in practical, transformative ways in your daily life
Click Here to Read the Transcript

So, what if you follow your closing? What if you realize all of a sudden you kind of wake up and this does happen, you’ll be closed and you’ll go down a path, right, and then all of a sudden things start going really wrong and you realize, oh my gosh, I’ve been closed this whole time and I wasn’t even aware of it. Because remember, you have been closed and opened throughout your lifetime. This is factory installed when you’re born, right? You’ve been opening and closing your whole lifetime and didn’t really know what it was.

So you’re still going to go back into that place of not being aware of it and forgetting. Remember, this is stress, worry, fear, anxiety. These four things are like the linchpin, habitual thinking that your mind picked up between the ages of zero and one and zero and five, like all that whole area in there.

Man, this is like the stuff that your survival is about. So you’ll go and be unaware of this closing, get stressed out about something, think that something really bad is going to happen, start taking all kinds of action and then things will start falling apart. It’s like the Murphy’s law.

As you follow your closings, things start to get worse and worse and more difficult and more difficult and you’ll wake up. Closing is just closing. In just a moment of sitting down, doing your listening practice, you can shift into finding an opening and there’s always an opening solution out of where you’ve gotten yourself.

And it’s like literally thoughts away, you begin opening and you can take yourself right out of that closed situation and back into a good situation and you’re back on path. So don’t panic. Closing is just closing.

It’s no big deal if you follow it by accident, you’re going to get better at this. And I know it can be kind of a bummer when you wake up out of it, but it don’t worry. Just stop, reset, find the next opening and now here’s the most exciting part.

We’re going to get into some real brass tacks ways to use your IGS in your life. We’re going to head back to my place and I’m going to start sharing with you some really, really solid ways to use it that’s going to transform your life. And I’m super excited because this is where people really begin to comment and start sending me emails and play with the Facebook page because things start changing really rapidly.

So let’s get started.

IGS Quick Start #10

One Simple Shift To Get Clearer Intuitive Answers

If you’ve been asking your Internal Guidance System (IGS) questions like “Should I buy this?” or “Is this the right path?”, this video is a must-watch.

There’s a subtle but powerful distinction between question people and statement people, and understanding which one you are can radically improve the accuracy of your IGS readings.

In this training, you’ll learn:

  • How to determine if your IGS responds better to questions or statements
  • A simple exercise to test which format works best for you
  • Why questions can cause mental noise that confuses your IGS
  • How to use visualization instead of thinking in rigid questions
  • Why it’s better to feel into a scenario than force a yes/no answer

💡 Your IGS works best when you work with it naturally. This video will help you stop second-guessing and start getting clearer, more aligned answers

So, some people are question people and some people are statement people. What do I mean by that? Well, you see, you know how you’re thinking and asking questions of your internal guidance system? I’m sure that you’ve been doing it since you started, most people do, especially because my original exercise, do I have an internal guidance system, I do not have an internal guidance system that kind of sets people up for asking questions, right? Well, you’ll find that you may respond, have a better response from your IGS if you ask statements, I will buy this TV versus should I buy this TV, which is a question. So this is how you figure out if you’re a statement person or a question person.

You sit and you do your listening practice, always start with your listening practice, fill your feet, your hands and listen to the room around you. You can do it with your eyes closed now, by now. And you just simply ask, am I a question person? Notice I formed it in a question, open, closed or neutral versus I am a statement person.

Check in, notice, open, closed or neutral. You may get a closing to one and an opening to another or you may get a slight opening one to one and a bigger opening to another. Whichever one you are, that’s the actual mode that you should be asking questions of your internal guidance system or making statements, whichever it is for you.

You’re gonna get better responses. And I don’t quite know why this is, but it’s just what I’ve found to be true in working with the hundreds and hundreds of clients that I’ve used this on. I actually have been able to find which one is better.

You may get an equal opening to both, some people are either, and if that’s the case, just do whatever’s most comfortable for you with what you’re figuring out. Now, I in general do not recommend people just sit there and ask questions, okay? This is super, super important to understand. And I wanna explain to you why, there’s several reasons.

But the number one reason is, when you try to hold one thought, your mind will have its opinion of that thought, okay? So even if you’re trying to get the one thought of what you should do, should I go on this vacation, open, closed or neutral? Your mind’s gonna come in with, you don’t have the money and you shouldn’t take the time off work or all these various things that your mind throws in there so you actually aren’t having one thought. It gets really noisy and crowded in there. So what I recommend is instead you kinda just visualize, imagine going on vacation and the dates that you wanna go and notice if it opens, closes you or if it’s a neutral sensation.

Hey, that’s what’s important. Visualizing doing it, you’ll get your answer and you’ll be having a lot of thoughts and it’s actually easier. So I just wanna let you know that.

The other reason why I don’t recommend having one thought is because not only is it background noise, but your IGS actually gives you a reading on the biggest body of thought or theme of what you’re thinking. And that’s why those thoughts rushing in. You may get an actual opening, but you’re getting an opening to the background thoughts because they’re more poignant, they’re more loud in your mind and that’s what your IGS is reading so you could get confused.

So if you need to ask one question, it’s totally fine. And if you are able to really drop into your listening practice and isolate the thought that you wanna get your answer to, awesome. But in general, go about your day, let your mind do its thing.

And notice what you’re just naturally getting from your IGS or use the imagination, the visualization as a way to do it. It’s way, way, way better. So play with that a little bit today, get on Facebook.

Let me know how it’s working for you. You can ask questions there if you’d like at the 100 Million Reads campaign. And then if you can, please, I would love it if you would invite your person for the day, maybe even tell them a little bit in the email about how you’re doing, send them to our website to sign up.

That would be fantastic. Thank you so much, and I hope you’re enjoying using your IGS.

IGS Quick Start #11

This 3-Second Reset Will Change How You Move Through Your Day

You’ve been doing your Internal Guidance System (IGS) listening practice while sitting still, and that’s an amazing start. But now, it’s time to take it into motion. Because life doesn’t happen on a meditation cushion, it happens while you’re driving, talking, working, and doing the dishes.

In this next step, you’ll learn:

  • How to activate your IGS “on the go” using feet, hands, tailbone
  • Why this quick body-awareness cue helps drop you into presence instantly
  • How to notice subtle changes in your body’s energy and awareness in real time
  • Why it’s totally okay if you’re not “good” at it right away (it’s called a practice for a reason!)
  • How to use this technique mid-conversation, in conflict, or during stressful moments for an instant reset

💡 This is where the practice gets real, and powerful. The more you use your IGS in everyday life, the more natural, fast, and intuitive it becomes.

Click Here to Read the Transcript

All right, now you have been, hopefully, getting an opportunity to practice your listening while sitting and doing it a couple times a day for two to three minutes. It’s perfect. You got your set point.

You know it’s easier and easier to do. You know how to do it. So now what I want you to do is I want you to take that information and get on the road with it.

I mean, move while you’re listening. So the way to do this, I recommend, is I always just have this thought, feet, hands, tailbone. Just feel all three.

You don’t have to drop anchor. And then listen. And you only have to listen for a second or two.

Feet, hands, tailbone. Right into your listening. It’s like Pavlog’s dog kind of thing.

The more you do it, the faster it is, right? You just drop in and then you can feel what information you’re getting about your thoughts. It happens really, really quickly. So do it while you’re washing the dishes.

Be in your listening, right? Do it while you’re in the shower, driving your car, in the middle of a phone call. When you’re sitting on the phone, you know, just take feet, hands, tailbone, present. And you’ll notice that your experience when you drop into your body and become present is different.

It’s just different. There’s like an instantaneous little change that happens. And at that moment, your mind goes blank.

And in that blankness, anything can happen. And you can also experience your IGS. So all I want you to do is just practice.

Now you may not be good at it at first. That’s okay. It’s why it’s called a practice, right? You need to practice it.

So don’t beat yourself up. Don’t let your mind beat you up. By now, you’re probably getting that your mind and you are two different things.

Your mind has a mind of its own, should we say. So don’t go and beat yourself up if you’re not getting everything perfect. That’s not the point.

The point is just to keep trying and it will happen. You will be able to drop in in a moment’s notice. And what happens when you drop in is you come from a different place.

So if you’re in an argument or a conversation, if you’ve been practicing this, you’ll be able to do it and it’s like a reset. It’s a reset in your life. So that’s the next practice.

Just take the listening practice on the road and do it while you’re standing, walking, and in motion with others. Practice that for at least a couple weeks.

IGS Quick Start #12

This Is the #1 Reason We Misread Our Emotions

Do your emotions ever feel overwhelming? Like they’re in charge of your life?

This powerful video will help you see emotions in a totally new way, and reveal why your Internal Guidance System (IGS) is not the same thing as your emotional response.

You’ll discover:

  • The real difference between emotions (chemical) and IGS (energetic)
  • Why emotions have a “half-life,” like a drug in your system
  • How to tell when you’re feeling an emotion that was programmed into you from early childhood
  • A personal story about mislabeling jealousy, and how one thought opened everything
  • Why grief, anger, and even sadness can coexist with an open IGS (and why that matters)
  • How staying open during emotional experiences prevents future damage and creates healing

💡 You’ll learn how to separate who you really are from what you were taught to feel, so you can start responding from alignment, not reaction.

Click Here to Read the Transcript

Your emotions and your internal guidance system are two completely separate things. So your emotions are a chemical interaction to what your mind is producing, the thoughts that it’s producing. And what happens is in that chemical reaction it floods your body and you feel an emotional response and it’s very much like a drug.

So once it’s flooding your body it takes a while for it to leave your body as if you like when you drink alcohol, right? You can only wait time, it’s the only thing you can do to have the alcohol be processed by your body and it’s the same thing with the chemicals that your mind releases that are emotion. Your internal guidance system expands and contracts instantaneously and it has no residual effect. So you can go from being deeply closed to instantly open once you hit the right thought.

So an example of this for me in my life was I thought I was a jealous person. All of my boyfriends thought that I was jealous because I would have this response when they would put attention on another woman or I’d see another woman with them. And so I worked on jealousy for years and years and years and years.

And the interesting thing was is I never really noticed that my IGS was closed when I was thinking I was jealous and I could not get over my jealousy. Well what I found out was is that most of our emotions are programmed when we’re children between the ages of zero and five. We get it from watching our parents and the people around us.

Oh, I’m supposed to get mad when X happens. Oh, when somebody treats me that way I’m supposed to feel self-righteous. I’m supposed to be really angry with them for this.

Or you could feel shame and embarrassment. There’s all these things that we get told as to how we’re supposed to feel when we’re a little kid. And so all these people my whole life told me that I was jealous.

But I was closed and I never really kind of realized I just figured it was the emotion of jealousy. And then one day I was reading a book and I was looking at the symptoms of it being insecure and I realized that I was an insecure person, not a jealous person. And I opened.

As soon as I thought I’m insecure, I had this big opening and that was the problem. And I can fix that. It’s different than solving jealousy.

Jealousy is about control. Insecurity is about self-worth. And so I began working on my self-worth.

In fact, I actually called my boyfriend at the time and was like super excited and was like, oh my gosh, I’m not jealous, I’m insecure. And he was like, is this a trick question? Yes, you’re insecure. I was like, oh my gosh, I’m so excited, I can fix that.

So you yourself have emotions that may have been labeled and placed on top of you, okay, that aren’t true. And you can use your IGS to really weed through who you are authentically, who you are, how you feel, and this can be reprogrammed. You can actually release stuff that isn’t yours.

That’s one beautiful and powerful way to use the IGS. And we do that in some of my other programs. It’s a much deeper work.

I wouldn’t do this in a quick video and then leave you hanging. But the important thing to know right now is that your emotions are separate and you can have a positive emotion and a closing in your IGS or a negative emotion and an opening. Anger can be a very powerful tool for change.

And if you’re open, that means what you’re thinking is in alignment. And if you have anger attached to it as well, it can be a very motivating, moving factor, okay? And you can also be feeling deep, deep grief and feel absolutely despondent and be open. When my mother passed away, I was 23 years old and it was the most horrific thing I had ever experienced.

It was so painful. But I remember I was laying in the middle of my living room floor. I couldn’t even go to work, kind of wailing like an animal missing her so much.

And when I would have thoughts about, who’s gonna be there when I get married and when I have children, I would get this closing feeling. And I’ve had people who have shown up for me, I’m not alone. I have beautiful women figures in my life.

But whenever I would have a feeling about my mom and how beautiful she was and what she gave me as a person, being my mother, I would open. I was in rich deep grief and I was having opening and closing based on which thoughts were more aligned for my soul’s blueprint to be thinking and to be pondering and continuing to keep me in the flow. So as you’re having your experience or emotional experiences, I want you to start paying attention to whether you’re open or closed.

And also be able to pay attention to which thoughts in the midst of the opening, of the emotional experiences are opening or closing. Because you’ll find that when you’re coming from a place of opening with your emotions, they will be so much more received by others if you’re open when you’re having them, and if you’re closed, they won’t be. You’ll meet against resistance.

So cultivating staying open in the midst of your emotional experiences is an incredibly powerful practice. And that’s part of that read many times in our lives when we have a deep emotional experience, we can create wreckage. Being able to be open in your emotional experiences is that way of hitting you.

You process it, you stay with an opening experience and there’s no wreckage, there’s no ripple past you, it stops with you. So this is one of the deep, deep practices that will actually create that read, The 100 Million Reads, Changing the Planet. So that’s a lot of information, but I know you can handle it and I’m excited to hear on Facebook in the comments below how you’re processing your emotions and how this is changing the way you’re doing your life.

IGS Quick Start #13

The Right Way to Ask Your Intuition a Question

Ready to start using your Internal Guidance System® (IGS) to get clear, direct answers?

In this video, you’ll learn how to use direct questions to access fast, grounded guidance, without overcomplicating things or spinning in uncertainty.

You’ll discover:

  • How to ask your IGS simple, yes-or-no style questions like: “Is it in my highest good to do ___?”
  • Why these questions work best in specific situations (not all the time!)
  • How to drop into your listening state for accurate results (feet, hands, tailbone, listen)
  • The #1 mistake people make with direct questions, and how to avoid it
  • Why you should never keep re-asking the same question from different angles

Direct questions are a great tool when used intentionally. You’ll learn when and how to use them to move forward with clarity, confidence, and alignment.

Click Here to Read the Transcript

Now, we get to begin learning how to find openings, so this is really kind of some of the fun part. Now, one of the ways that you can find openings, which I’m going to have you play with today, is asking direct questions. Okay, so very often this is how people start out, and I want to give you like a little disclaimer here.

I don’t recommend that you ask direct questions all the time, like that’s not the way that I recommend you use your IGS, okay? You just need to be paying attention to your thoughts as you move through your life, but you’ll come to areas where you really want to get the answer to something. You have something you need, am I going to go on this trip? What’s the best timing? You know, should I buy this? So what you do is you drop into your listening, all right, feet, hands, listen to the room around you, and then you ask a question, a direct question. So you can probably hear my rooster out there, by the way.

So what you do is you just say, is it in my highest good to purchase this TV? Open closed or neutral? I close my eyes because I find that for me, I’m a very visual person. You don’t have to close your eyes, but that’s kind of what I do when I ask direct questions. Now, you can get yourself into trouble because you don’t, once you get the answer, go with that answer.

Don’t keep asking questions over and over and over from a different angle to just prove. An opening is an opening, follow the opening, okay? Closing is a closing, move yourself into an opening. To go from a closing to an opening, I’m going to show you how to do that.

That’s not what these direct questions are for, and I’ll explain how to go from a closing to an opening later, but these direct questions are just to get direct guidance, okay? So play with it a little bit today. Ask some questions, you know? That’s a really simple and easy thing for you to do. So go ahead and try that for today.

Thank you.

IGS Quick Start #14

Why Too Many Questions = Confusing Guidance

If you’ve been using your Internal Guidance System® (IGS) and find yourself asking about everything, from what to eat to which sock to wear, you’re not alone. But here’s the truth: asking too many questions can block your flow and disconnect you from real-life alignment.

In this practical troubleshooting video, you’ll learn:

  • Why asking your IGS too many questions doesn’t help you get clearer
  • What happens when your IGS starts giving you neutrals instead of guidance
  • How to reconnect with your soul’s blueprint by living your life, not micromanaging it
  • When it’s helpful to ask questions (and when it just creates overwhelm)
  • How to balance IGS inquiry with real-world action

💡 Your IGS is a tool for aligned living, not a system to overthink your way through every decision. This video will help you loosen your grip and trust the process again.

So I want to give you some of the troubleshooting, the things that happen to people that have them get confused or get stuck, okay? So I’ve got a few videos here for that, and the first one is asking too many questions. When I ask you to say, I do have an internal guidance system or I do not have an internal guidance system, what often happens for people is they think that the way they’re supposed to use their IGS is to ask a lot of questions, and that’s not the case, okay? In fact, if you sit there and you just constantly ask questions of your IGS, you’re not actually living your life. And this is about your soul’s blueprint and you being on the blueprint and going and making your life happen.

So go out and live your life and try not to ask too many questions over and over and over again throughout your day. I mean, I’ve had people sitting there asking about every single thing there is to ask about and it gets really, really, really, really tiring because your IGS is about keeping you on track in your life as you’re moving forward, okay? So enjoy it, you know, you can go in and see if it opens you to have this vitamin or that vitamin. You know, the great way to use it is around food that you eat and health stuff, but don’t sit there and just obsessively ask questions all the time.

It’s not a good way to use your IGS, and your IGS can actually kind of get to lots of neutrals when that starts happening because you’re not actually living your life. So get out there and live your life.

How to Get More Done by Doing Less

You’ve already cleared the “shoulds,” “have to’s,” and “musts.” Now it’s time to let your IGS guide the order of what you do… by following your natural urge to act. This is what Zen calls going with the flow, and it turns productivity into peace.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • How to use your IGS to determine when to do things, not just what to do
  • A simple practice for tuning into your next aligned action (even if you’re overwhelmed)
  • What an “upwelling urge” feels like, and why that’s your inner green light
  • A real-life story of how following the IGS led Zen home just in time to save the day
  • Why you don’t need to know the “why” behind every opening, just trust the flow

💡 You’ll get more done, with less stress, and experience more magic and synchronicity than ever before, just by trusting your internal traffic cop.

Okay, so part two, hey, there’s one of my chickens, part two of being a master at time management is now that you’ve gone through the should, have to, need to’s, and musts, right, and you know what is yours to do now, you open to it. The neutrals you just kind of leave alone, they’ll come back into the picture or out of the picture based on you know where it is that your openings and closing goes in the future and then the closings just drop them off your list, just let them go for now, they’ll come back around when they need to, okay, but for now just do what opens you and keep an awareness of your neutrals and this is an exercise that I love to call going with the flow, okay, so now when do you do what you need to do? So you can use your IGS to determine what order to do things in, for example, what I recommend you do is just sit down on your couch or your chair or wherever you are, you can even do it standing if you want, drop into your listening and relax, okay, I recommend you kind of just sit down on your couch, your chair, in your office, wherever, drop into your listening, close your eyes and relax and just sit there and wait until you feel an upwelling urge to do something, whatever the next thing is to do, it’s the way to use your IGS, it works, all of a sudden out of nowhere you’ll get an urge to make a phone call, to open your email, to finish a document, you may be home and you’ll get an urge to go work on a particular project, that urge is like an upwelling opening, right, so we all have this, okay, for me as a woman and I’m not making this just a woman thing but I’m just saying I when I clean the house at home I go with a flow, like I’ll see this and I’ll pick it up and I’ll move it to the other room and then while I’m in that other room I’ll make the bed and then I’ll you know or pull something off and do go ahead and do the sheets and on a Saturday, two hours in my house I can’t believe how much I’ve gotten done and I wasn’t actually in my mind doing it, I was just kind of in a nice flow, it’s even better if I have music on when I’m doing it, right, well we all have these moments where there’s just synchronicity, all your, you walk into the post office and there’s no line, right, you make a right to go down your to the marketplace and you happen to be the one that gets there and later just right after that it gets busy, your IGS is like a time management traffic cop and it’ll let you know what you need to be doing next, now here’s an interesting thing, so I at one point was driving down the road and I had gotten done with a meeting early and I had some errands I wanted to run so I thought hey I’ll go to the market now, I planned on going later in the day but I thought I’ll go to the market now, so as I’m getting off the freeway thinking I’m gonna go to the market I closed and I thought wait a minute I’m closed, well I’ve learned and you’ll learn too after about time you listen to those closings, okay, and those openings because they work otherwise it doesn’t work and so I decided to go home, as I’m pulling up to our house the cable guy was pulling up the orange cones and he was right in front of our house, well it turns out that my roommate at the time who was a huge basketball fan, it’s March Madness week which was, I don’t know if you’re a basketball person but it’s huge for the people who love basketball and our cable was out, our cable box wasn’t recording in the DVR and the guy had come to fix it and my roommate had forgot to tell me, so if I had gone to the grocery store I would have missed the cable guy which would have been a real big bummer, it was no, no nothing for me to go ahead and go home at that time period and go to the store later but it would have been a big heartache for my roommate, so I let the cable guy and he fixed it, it was awesome, you’re gonna find that synchronicity and flow begins to happen now as you begin to use your IGS and you may not have a reason right there in the forefront as to why you’re opening your closing but you’re gonna find that it’s accurate and you don’t have to know why, okay, so sit down, follow your urgings, go with the flow, it’s part two of the time management.

4 Powerful Questions To Ask Your Internal Guidance System®

In this video, we explore 4 Powerful Questions that you can ask yourself and use your IGS, opening or closing, to find out what actions to take next. They are designed to help you clear your mind, reduce anxiety, and determine the next best actions to take, whether in a crisis or when dealing with recurring worries.

You’ll learn how to:
👉 Determine if your worry or concern is something you actually have control over or can influence.
👉 The assumptions and immediate conclusions your mind often jumps to are true
👉 If there is anything you need to do about this situation right now
👉 If you have all the necessary information and resources before taking action.

All right, this is one of my favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite things that I’m sharing with you. I call it four powerful questions, okay? So for me, this clears out so much junk, okay? There’s four questions that you can ask yourself and use your IGS, opening or closing, to find out what actions to take next. You can use this in the midst of a crisis, or you can use this with anything that your mind keeps giving you over and over again, right, that you can’t seem to clear out or get rid of.

I have other practices for that that I’m going to be sharing with you soon, but when your mind is like taking over, right, this is awesome. So the first question is, is this any of my business? What you might say? Is this any of my business? And you’ll be surprised. Things like, am I going to have my mortgage or my rent? Am I going to lose my job? Are my kids going to be successful? All kinds of crazy, crazy things are actually none of your business.

What? Yes, it’s true. It’s absolutely true. And I don’t mean that it’s not any of your business at all.

What I mean is, is you thinking about it and putting energy on it in this moment is going to be a useless waste of your time, right? So let’s say one of your kids is acting up in school and you feel like you’re spending an enormous amount of time worrying and concerned about how your child’s acting. You can ask, okay, is this even any of my business? If you close, that means it’s not any of your business. You can let it go.

You putting your time and energy on it isn’t going to make a single bit of difference and it’ll work itself out. You can even ask, is this going to work itself out without me? Open. Okay, you’d be amazed at how much anxiety that your mind produces that this one question can release and relieve, all right? So if you get a closing, let it go and figure out by using the urge practice, sit down, go into your listening and feel what your IGS wants you to do next and just get back into the flow of your life.

It’s the most beautiful way, okay? So if you open though, I’m sorry, I hate it when I open because it means I have to do something about it, right? So if you open, then you want to ask, is the thought I’m having true? And you’re like, what? Much of what your mind produces is not even true. It’s BS. There’s assumptions and immediate things that your mind leaps to and conclusions that aren’t true and then we begin acting on them.

So I’m going to give you an example of this, okay? I went to a party and I was sitting in the living room and a friend of mine entered the entry hall doorway, right? She came in the house, she looked over at me and she gave me this glaring look and then walked into the kitchen. And I thought, immediately, now I had a really rough elementary school time. I was picked on in teas and it was awful and so I’m very, very sensitive to people when they do something like that.

My mind went immediately to the conclusion that I had done something to upset her or offend her and that there was something I needed to figure out. So I spent the whole evening talking to people, pretending to be present while I’m going through our last interactions, emails I’ve sent her. I’m sitting here trying to figure out what I did wrong and I was so upset finally.

And I’m not very courageous in the beginning when these kinds of things happen. Finally, I got up the courage to kind of approach her and see what the heck was going on. As I walked into the kitchen, she reached out and grabbed my arm and said, who’s that over in the blue shirt? And she’s squinting and I told her who it was.

And she goes, I forgot my glasses, they’re in my other purse. I don’t have my contacts in, I can’t see a thing. I just keep trying to memorize who’s who by their clothing.

I ruined a whole darn good party worrying about this person who just couldn’t see. And when she glared at me, it was just her vision, right? It wasn’t anything to do with me. And we do this kind of thing all the time.

I’m sure you can think of a few on your own, right? So is the thought I’m having truthful? If you close, that means you need to really reassess how you’re thinking about the situation, because it means it’s not true. And you don’t go past this question until you figure out what’s true in the situation, okay? If you open and you are thinking truthfully about it, then you go on to the next question, okay? The third question is, is there anything I need to do about this situation right now? Okay, if you close, you don’t have to go any further. That means there’s nothing you can do about it right now.

Yes, it’s your business. Yes, how you’re thinking about it is true, but the timing is off, okay? And timing is everything in this world. It really, truly is.

And so if you don’t need to do anything about the situation right now, then go ahead and let it go, because what I’ll promise, it will come back up and you’ll know that it’s yours to handle and you’ll know how you’re thinking about it is accurate, okay? So just let it go and go on with your life, right? But if you open, then that means the time is now. You need to act. You need to go and have that conversation that you think is difficult or whatever it is that you’re thinking, you need to do it.

And then the fourth question is, do I have everything I need to act right now? So oftentimes when this happens, if you open, go for it. You know, you just go ahead and take care of the situation. Everything’s lined up and it’s perfect.

But sometimes you don’t have all the information. There may be somebody else to talk to, right? There may be something that you need to line up before you do it. This happened for a client of mine when she had a tax bill, right? And she actually, everything, she was her business and she needed to handle it.

And we went all the way, when she got to the end, there was something that she didn’t have. So she called her tax person and it turned out that she didn’t actually have to pay her taxes. It was a mistake on the IRS’s part and her tax person in looking it up before she paid the bill, they got she didn’t pay the bill.

Looking it up actually was able to write a letter for her on her behalf and she didn’t have to pay the taxes. So there was something that she didn’t know that she needed, right? So is there anything else that I need right now? So if you open, then you go ahead and look around and see what else you might need. If you close, then that means there’s nothing else you need, you can go on.

So these are the four questions that can get you out of trouble. And I recommend you put them on a card somewhere and just remember to use them when you’re fretting and you’re worrying or there’s something that you can’t seem to get over. So it’s a really, and in crisis too, this is a really, really, really powerful tool.

Now, there’s an audio below, okay, with this information and an even bigger explanation of this. I’m kinda giving it not enough justice and more stories and things. And that’s it, just try it out, see what you think.

I think you’ll be as excited at the first question when you close. This is the city of my business as I am. It clears a lot off your plate.

Are You Trying to “Force” an Opening? Here’s Why That Backfires

When you’re new to working with your Internal Guidance System (IGS), it can be frustrating to get a closing when you really want an opening. You might try to mentally twist your thoughts to get the answer you want, but that never works. And in this video, you’ll learn why.

You’ll discover:

  • The hidden danger of pushing for an opening on something your IGS is clearly closing on
  • Why manipulating your thoughts to get a different signal wastes time and energy
  • How ignoring your IGS leads you off your soul’s blueprint, and into avoidable challenges
  • A personal story of resisting an IGS signal, and how it almost blocked a life-changing move
  • What to do when your IGS says “go,” but fear says “no”

💡 Your IGS isn’t here to match your preferences, it’s here to guide you to the life you truly want. And learning to stop pushing is one of the most powerful steps on that journey.

Alright, so another troubleshooting tip I have for you, okay, is sometimes before you really begin to build trust with your IGS, because what’s going to happen is the more you use it, the more you’re going to trust it, the more you won’t even argue with it. If you open and then you trust it, if you close, you trust it. But in the beginning, you may actually get a closing to something that you really want and you’ll keep trying to find a way to get your IGS open about it.

But I really want to date that guy. I really, really, really, really want to date him and your IGS is closed, closed, closed. It’s not going to work out.

So one of the pitfalls is actually kind of going against your IGS and trying to push in different ways your thoughts around to try and get the thing that you’ve closed about to happen, or the thing that opens you. It could be something you were opening about that you don’t really like, like maybe you don’t want to leave your job or you’re open to moving, you’re getting an opening and you’re kind of not really wanting to move, right? And so you’re pushing to stay where you’re at. You know, in the beginning, what I can say is, is when that happens, OK, it’s a waste of time and you can play with it.

But be very, very careful because this is one of the areas where when you begin playing with it like that, moving and you’re actually still moving into your closing or ignoring your opening and things have a tendency not to work out. And the longer that you stay in, moving towards a closing or avoiding an opening. So, you know, because you’re not on your soul’s blueprint.

That’s what this whole thing is about. So you’re getting farther and farther away from following what’s absolutely going to bring you happiness and fulfillment. And over time, you’re going to learn this.

But, you know, that these signals are actually really, really going to bring you what’s going to make you happiest. That move may introduce you to the person that you’re going to marry and you’re resisting it, OK? That’s something that actually kind of happened to me. I met my husband by moving and it was scary.

I moved away from everybody I knew. So try not to do that and try not to do it for very long. And I just want you to have the awareness so that you know what you’re doing when you do it.

So this is just a piece of information that I really want you to just have and know so that you understand more of how this works and you don’t get yourself in trouble. OK, so if you do that, realize you’re doing it and try not to. OK?

One Opening Can Transform Your Whole Life

When you get an opening from your Internal Guidance System (IGS), it’s easy to assume things will move in a straight line, from point A to point B. But in reality, your IGS will often guide you on a winding, unexpected path that delivers exactly what your soul needs… even if your mind doesn’t understand it at the time.

In this powerful video, you’ll learn:

  • Why your IGS might lead you toward something just to collect one key experience, and then move you in a new direction
  • How to trust the “zigzag” route instead of feeling like you failed when plans shift
  • A real-life client story where one step (moving across the country) opened the door to a completely unexpected, perfect life outcome
  • How to recognize when your mind’s expectations are creating false pressure
  • The #1 mindset shift that makes following your IGS joyful, even when things don’t make logical sense

💡 Your IGS is smarter than your mental plan. Trust that each step, no matter how out of order it looks, is part of a bigger design that’s unfolding for your fulfillment.

So, an important thing to know is that your IGS rarely leads you from point A to point B. It can kind of feel a little bit like if you’ve ever seen a cartoon with a little kid who’s coming home from school, right? And they got the dotted line and he goes and he plays with the cat and he climbs up the tree and down and around the rocks and then he goes down and he plays in the gutter for a while and he kind of spins around and jumps. Your IGS leads you on a course that may not make sense to you at first but it’s helping you capture and collect everything you need in your life for your soul’s blueprint to be the best it can be. So, sometimes it may actually have you start a course or a course of school, right? So, in school and you’ve got all these different courses to become, let’s say, a chiropractor and you get about a quarter of the way through the chiropractic school and all of a sudden you’re closed at going any further and you’re open at quitting.

So, quitting. Now, for a lot of people that’s like, oh my god, I totally do not quit things and I’m going to and if you but if you keep going you’ll get more and more unhappy. But there was something in the beginning of that course that you absolutely needed for your soul’s blueprint.

Maybe you’re supposed to do acupuncture but now you have all of your physical courses taken care of and this is going to be applied to something else. Have you ever noticed how different parts of your life you’ll learn something and then a year or a couple months later even, it’s like, wow, I totally know that and I studied that and now I need it. It’s perfect, right? So, that’s kind of how it works.

I’ll give you one really good example and this woman that I worked with, she lived on the east coast and she wanted to move to the west coast to be with her daughter and she had her own business and she owned a home and so she opened it moving and so she went and she started selling her home. The house sold really fast so she got a really cute little apartment, you know, and then she sold her business and she got rid of all of the stock and she started doing consulting because she wanted to keep making money and she still had clients so she started consulting instead of owning her business. And then she decided she didn’t want to be in a long-distance relationship so she broke up with her boyfriend, you know, and it had been kind of stale anyways, she said, so it was okay to leave it behind and then she started calling all of her ex-girlfriends that she used to hang out with and they started having fun and going on trips and doing things and all of a sudden she called me one day and she said, my life is perfect, it’s perfect, I don’t want to move to the west coast now.

I love this, I got this cute little tiny apartment, I’ve gotten rid of all my extra junk, I’m making good money as a consultant and it’s easy, I don’t have a business storefront anymore and I’m not dating somebody I wasn’t particularly in love with but was comfortable and I have all my friends back and I said, is it open you to stay? And she said yes. If her IGS had given her a laundry list of what it would take in order to get her life back to where she wanted it to be, it would have been overwhelming and seemed too taxing. But one little opening about moving to the west coast and all this stuff came into alignment, right, and she just kept the vision of the west coast.

So here’s the goodness, she stayed there for about five years and she is actually now living on the west coast, enjoying her granddaughter who was born here after she had moved, everything turned out exactly as she wanted to, it’s just this IGS didn’t leave her directly from one place to another. So don’t get frustrated if you get an opening, right, and it doesn’t pan out the way your brain thinks it’s going to be because your brain is usually going to be wrong, okay, what your mind is saying. Just trust it and keep staying with the opening and notice, but I’m still happy.

Even if it’s not turning out the way my mind thought it would, I’m still open and I’m still happy and that’s the whole point. This whole thing is about your soul blueprint and you being happy and fulfilled and successful. That’s the whole point.

So relax and just hang on because it’s a nice ride.
